We don’t have a lot of snow at the resort and the temperatures this winter have been quite variable. We’ve had many bitterly cold days below zero, but today was just the opposite. It’s February 19th and the temperature rose to 41 degrees causing melting everywhere! The sunset is beautiful reflecting on the water on top of the ice. The reflection kind of looks like a light bulb.
These ice fishermen don’t have many days left as the season ends at the end of February. The weatherman says this warmth won’t last. I don’t remember if the groundhog saw his shadow. It doesn’t really matter. Winter always last at least another 6 weeks in Minnesota. The sun sets later each day and summer vacations are just around the corner!
