We lost a lot of ice over night. Lake Florida is probably 50% ice free.
We were relieved when we got up this morning that the ice wasn’t piled 10 feet high on our beach and yard. Ice out is always an anxious time not knowing exactly what is going to happen and whose turn it is to have it on their property.
When Bob was out taking the pictures he said he could hear the ice crunching against the rocks on the south shore which we affectionately call “Windy Point.”
Let’s hope the rest of the day goes well!
