The fundraiser
We have a tradition in February of supporting a special fundraiser for the Matthew and Timothy Houses in Willmar, Minnesota. Our friend Dwight is the fearless leader of the guys who live in the houses. All of them are struggling with something – addiction to drugs or alcohol, some have been in jail, etc. but are trying to get their lives back on track. The pancake fundraiser and silent auction raises money for their daily needs and the costs associated with their homes. We made donuts, boxed them up and contributed them to the fundraiser.
Here we are with Dwight who is always so thankful for anything anyone does for the guys! It was a good morning. All of the donuts went home with families and we onlbid on a couple of items at the silent auction! Join us next year!
