Fishing
We blew snow in the morning again and then headed out from the resort to have some fun! Our first stop was the annual “Let’s Go Fishing” Fundraiser. We had Dad’s Belgian Waffles first and then headed to the silent auction tables and also participated in the live auction.

This little girl got just the hot pink fishing rod she was hoping for. Do you think her favorite color is pink? Her family has a brand new boat that they are anxious to get into the water!
Curling
For the first time ever Kandiyohi County hosted the Mixed National Curling Competition at the Willmar Civic Center. Kevin and his staff and volunteers worked extremely hard to make this happen and make it a success!

There were teams participating from Alaska all the way to Connecticut. Curling is an interesting sport. It’s going to take awhile to get the hang of the scoring! It will be fun to see if they get the chance to do it again. Thanks to all of the sponsors!
