Fishing at Lake Florida
Fishing is one of the many activities that our guests enjoy at Dickerson’s Resort. Lake Florida has a number of species – Sunfish, Bluegills, Crappie, Northern, Large mouth Bass and Walleye. 
Aaron caught this beautiful Crappie while fishing Lake Florida with his grandpa Rich.
A beautiful Large mouth Bass and a mess of pan fish made for a great day of fall fishing for Bob & Linda.
Not to be outdone by his brother, Roger & Louise caught these beautiful Large mouth Bass.
The elusive Walleye

If you catch the fish and you keep the fish, then you need to clean the fish! You can almost always count on getting a filet lesson from the resort owner himself! If you are really patient, he will save some scraps for you! 🙂

The Minnesota Governors Fishing Opener
We have a big fishing event taking place in Kandiyohi County in May. We will be hosting the Minnesota Governor’s Fishing Opener! The dates are May 10-13, 2018. The main headquarters will be in Spicer, but fishermen will be fishing on all of the lakes in Kandiyohi County. For more information check the Willmar Lakes Area website.
