This morning we went to our church, Calvary Lutheran in Willmar. When we got home we put on our dirty clothes one more time, took the radio to cabin #5 and listened to the Minnesota Vikings loose (starting to sound like a broken record!) while we removed the lakeside deck of cabin #5. Sasha came to inspect and play hide and seek. Really, in a pile of lumber filled with nails!
Years ago when we put down the wooden boardwalks and decks we called it our “retirement fund.” We figured that over the years, coins would drop between the boards and eventually we would have enough money to retire. Retirement is a LONG way off. Below are the treasures we found under the deck of cabin #5.
Cabin knives, swivels, paint brush, Dickerson’s wooden quarter, a Scrabble Tile, crochet hook, bubble wand, poker chip & sand pail handle are just a few of the things we found. We know where the knives go, but if any of the others belong to you we’d be happy to save them until you visit us again!
