It’s been a great vacation season at Dickerson’s Resort, but as you can see by the ice on Lake Florida, it is time to take the gage out. (maybe past time!) The gage is put in by the DNR in the spring and we read the lake level every few days to make sure everything is flowing smoothly. Simon, our helper cat is very interested that he can walk on water! 🙂
The water level in Lake Florida is down quite a bit from this spring, but we are hoping for many inches of snow to bring it back to a normal level.
